JCHA has two complexes in Jackson County. Tanglewood Villa in Ripley, WV and Rolling Meadow Village in Fairplain, WV. Tanglewood Villa has 71 1-BR units and 3 efficiency units. Rolling Meadow Village complex is across from the DHHR office in Fairplain. There are 10 1-BR, 29 2-BR, 28 3BR and 4 4-BR Townhouses. Tanglewood Villa had a beautiful Gazebo to sit and visit with friends and family, a laundry facility, and the residents have access to the Community room everyday to read, watch TV, play games or have luncheons. The Rolling Meadow Village complex has two playground, several basketball hoops and walking distance to several places to gain employment. There is public transportation through the Little Kanawha Bus by calling 1-866-354-5522.

To be eligible for Public Housing you must be at least 18 years of age and meet our income guidelines. You can only apply on-line at jacksonhousingauthority.org. Your rent will be based upon 30% of you monthly adjusted income. A few deductions that you may be eligible for are dependents, children under the age of 18 or full-time students, elderly or disabled persons 62+, childcare, medical, etc. Once we reach your name on the waiting list we will send you a letter inviting you to a briefing meeting. Which at that time you must supply us with all Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Marriage and/or Divorce Decree, confirmation pregnancy, adoption information and ALL income information for every household member.
